22,000 Visitors

We did it again!

Last week, 51 international design brands from across the globe showcased their collections at Copenhagen's historic Odd Fellow Palace and Harsdorff House on Kongens Nytorv. Over the course of three vibrant days, 22,000 visitors attended the seventh edition of FRAMING, making it the most successful edition to date.

Designers, interior architects, architects, manufacturers, agents, buyers, journalists and editors from around the world gathered to experience a curated selection of world-class design, presented within some of Copenhagen's most iconic architectural settings.

Over the years, FRAMING has evolved into a truly international destination, attracting exhibitors and visitors from every corner of the world. This year, we welcomed a particularly strong presence from Asia. Japanese lighting brand Yamagiwa and global design company Stellar Works drew considerable attention throughout the exhibition. The American textile pioneer Maharam presented its latest collections in a beautifully conceived installation. Italian lighting manufacturer Luceplan transformed the entrance foyer with a striking showpiece, Spanish rug specialist nanimarquina unveiled its Eames rug collection, and Canadian design brand Hollis+Morris captivated visitors with a dramatic multi-storey lighting installation suspended through the grand staircase. Swedish furniture company String Furniture also attracted significant crowds with its Salvador Dalí-inspired universe, created exclusively for FRAMING.

In the courtyard, a selection of leading Italian outdoor brands, alongside the renowned Belgian outdoor furniture company Tribù, introduced their latest collections for open-air living. Nearby, Swedish furniture maker Grythyttan created an enchanting garden filled with traditional Swedish summer flowers-demonstrating how successful exhibitions today are about far more than presenting products; they are about creating immersive experiences and memorable environments.

An increasing number of international brands now choose to exhibit exclusively in Copenhagen during 3daysofdesign, further cementing the festival's position as one of the world's most influential design events. Among them was Indian furniture brand Kailkale, which, together with Swedish architect Alexander Mihel, presented its collection to the international design press for the very first time at Harsdorff House-with remarkable success.

"The level has been higher than ever this year - both in terms of the quality of the exhibitions and the calibre of the visitors. I am deeply grateful for the overwhelmingly positive feedback we have received, and many participants have already confirmed their interest in returning next year. That can only mean they see genuine value in being part of FRAMING," says Samira Kudsk, founder of FRAMING.

Despite its increasingly international profile, the Nordic countries remain at the heart of FRAMING. The Concert Hall featured seven Norwegian brands, while Finnish companies Nikari, Woodnotes and Secto Design once again occupied the prominent corner at the entrance to Odd Fellow Palace on Bredgade.

With a record number of visitors and overwhelmingly positive responses from participating brands, FRAMING 2026 exceeded all expectations.

We look forward to welcoming the international design community back in Copenhagen next year.

See you in 2027!
